Turning your idea into a reality doesn’t just happen, it demands focus and attention. Obviously, you live and breathe it, what you need is a forward thinking team that will put in the effort your idea deserves. The easiest thing to do would be just to take take your idea and run with it – but we work a little differently! We will work with you to create various concepts to see which ones still do what they are meant to but are also pleasing to the eye, sthe best size, with more or less options, cheaper to manufacture or more competitively priced as various solutions to your initial concept. We use a variety of techniques and will liaise with you throughout your journey of transforming what was in your head to a physical object. Whether you have a small seed of an idea and nothing else or a considerably advanced concept with, styling, ergonomics, cost, function, feasibility of manufacture and routes to market already explored, together we will work out how to move things forward.

When you request work, you don’t want to sit there getting stressed not knowing what is happening. It’s even worse when you are answerable to your client and have delegated tasks to another. You can be confident any designs we create, will be on time, to the highest possible standard and within the budget agreed. We don’t like to be let down and that is why we are protective of our repuattion as are you. Creating 3D designs helps to not only visualise complex products but is also a great sales aid for when you are promoting your products and services. Our services include; Identifying and eliminating possible manufacturing issues, Refreshing a product from old data, updating designs and converting data and details to a 3D format of your choice.

2D Engineering Drawings
2D drawings are a necessity in understanding the finer details of the design.

When you commit to manufacturing, it is imperative what you input is precisely what you require to avoid costly mistakes, not to mention the waste of valuable resources, your time, your employees time and the affect it may have on your reputation. To put it bluntly, if your technical drawings are not accurate, you do not know what will be manufactured until it is too late. Technical drawings are a necessity in understanding the finer details of the design, ensuring tolerances and clearances can be met bwhen sent for manufacturing. We create engineering technical drawings in the most popular file formats, that will fully convey the geometric characteristic of your product and any crucial features that interact with other components. Our services include; general arrangement, assembly drawings, P&I diagrams

Prototyping
When thoughts, ideas and concepts are turned into a physical object.
Click here to find out more about Prototyping
The prototype stage is regarded by many to be the most crucial when it comes to successful product design. When thoughts, ideas, concepts and sketches are turned into a physical object that you can touch, you can assess what the end product could look like but it is still not too late or costly to fine tune things e.g. could it be lighter, would using a different material propel it to a higher price point are just two examples. On the other hand, you may want feedback from a client or potential client or just to do your own evaluation before you take the next step of going into full production. Think of prototyping as a trial run or a dress rehearsal, you want to get all the niggles and teething problems out of the way before the main event!

Designing for industry is no different than designing for the individual. We can help with solutions that maximise the opportunities for getting your product to the right audience and marketing it in a way that engages them to have a long term relationship with you.

CAD
A 3D CAD drawing is an investment that could bring exponential rewards.
Click here to find out more about CAD
Most people are aware of CAD and know it is about drawings in a digital format, but most are not aware of how much impact it has in our lives and also what a great selling tool it is or how much you can save by utilising its features. Taking a physical component and converting it into a detailed 3D model that can be rotated 360° or be seen from different perspectives e.g. above, below, from behind, without risking damage to the real thing (try turning a car upside down to check how the suspension works or looking at the location of metal screws in a 500 ft Access Platform on the side of a Refinery!) Once the model is created in CAD, it is a simple task to fine tune it until it is precisely what you require. This model can help with the manufacturing process by highlighting various parameters e.g. mass, volume undercuts etc. A detailed 3D CAD drawing is an investment that could bring exponential rewards.

3D Printing
Perfect for prototype testing
Click here to find out more about 3D Printing
3D Printing is all the rage at the moment. It feels like we have been talking about it for several years yet it still feels new! The reason is because as the years go by, 3D printing becomes ever more accessible to more and more of the business world. We are not yet at the stage where every office has a 3D Printer in the corner, that is why we are happy for you to use ours for prototype testing. Creating a plastic example of the eventual product for testing is a much more economical way to assess the viability than going straight to the manufacturing process using materials that may cost multiple times the cost of plastic.

Product Strategy
A plan of action to achieve your long term goals.

Having a great concept is one thing. Profiting from your idea can be a long and arduous road to success. What is is usually required is a plan of action to achieve your long term goals. We can assist you with this strategic implementation. Admittedly forming a strategy to a) get your product to market and b) align your expectations with the intended market resulting in maximising sales is not rocket science, but it is hard when you are too close to the action. We can take a step back and hep with the overall picture to help reduce costly mistakes and ultimately the failure of a product launch despite the innovative and disruptive nature of it.

2D to 3D Conversion
Convert your ideas or existing designs from 2D to 3D CAD models.
Click here to find out more about 2D/3D Conversion
As the demands of your customers grow, you will find that you have to invest in new technologies, just to stay competitive. Fear not, we can convert your ideas or existing designs from 2D to 3D CAD models. You may just want to update your legacy data to modern 3D CAD models and recreate the 2D drawings for manufacture. Whatever it is you require, just give us a call and let’s see where our conversation leads!

Parts Books and Bills of Materials
Critical for raw materials, assembly information and quantities required.
Click here to find out more about Parts Books
In manufacturing it is essential you have a Parts Book. Without this invaluable tool, you would not be able to dissassemble your design into its individual components so it makes it easier to identify the parts to manfacture. Additionally, for those working on the manufacture of your product, the Bills of Materials is critical for raw materials, assembly information and quantities required.

Reverse Engineering
